Product storytelling / Artist campaigns
Firstfan
Campaign design & motion / 2026
Turn being a fan into a clear next step.
Client work
Campaign design and motion by Wrist Studio for Firstfan. Featuring Sedona and KHATUMU, with supplied artist, product, and brand assets incorporated into the campaign layouts.
The problem to solve
Introduce the artist. Explain how to take part.
Firstfan’s campaigns connect early fandom with artist drops and access. The design challenge is to make both the drop and the participation process understandable: share proof of fandom, get verified, and unlock what comes next. We brought the artist imagery, campaign details, and instructions into a consistent system for Sedona and KHATUMU.
A key creative decision
Let the next action stay visible while the imagery moves.
We kept the headline and step number in place as the examples of proof changed. That gives the motion a clear purpose: show what the instruction means. We gave the artist announcement its own space to establish the drop and its character.
KHATUMU / Artist campaign
From artist reveal to verified access.
01 / Introduce the drop
An artist-led opening for KHATUMU’s Blackout (Special Cut) campaign.
02 / Show what counts as proof
Listening history, tickets, playlists, and purchases make Day 1 fandom concrete.
Design exploration
Finding the hierarchy before the motion.
The Sedona working board shows references, story layouts, and feed variations exploring how the artist, merchandise, and participation message can share a frame. This is process work, presented separately from the finished films above.

Our approach
Designed around
the explanation.
- 01
We explored how artist imagery, merchandise, and participation instructions could share the screen, including story layouts and feed variations for Sedona.
- 02
We separated the artist announcement from the instructional content, giving each a clear communication job.
- 03
We used recognizable examples of fan proof—tickets, purchases, and playlists—to make the verification step concrete.
- 04
We carried a consistent hierarchy, numbered steps, and artist framing across the campaign films.
The outcome
A clear path from artist discovery to verified access.
We delivered four motion assets that bring artist announcements, examples of fan proof, and verification into one visual system. Each instructional clip keeps the next action visible while motion adds context through artist imagery and recognizable evidence. Together, the work shows how to move from discovering a drop to understanding how to take part.
